The Information Resource Center is not only for people with MS, but also for family members, friends, employers, and health care professionals.
Supportive professional staff is available to speak with you Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain Standard Time.

Care Management
Are you faced with confusing information, overwhelming decisions, or uncertainty about where to turn for help? Our Care Management Program is a resource that provides you with education and support to help empower you to manage this life change Our Care Managers are trained social workers, who can assess your needs, develop a personalized care plan, and connect you to needed services such as:
- Home safety and accessibility
- SSI/SSDI
- Home health care
- Chore services
- Employment assistance
- Transportation
- Medical equipment
- Respite care
- Financial and long-term care planning
- Legal assistance
- Emotional support

Financial Assistance
If you are living with MS and find that you are struggling financially and can't afford some of the items or services you need to live more comfortably and independently, we have a limited financial assistance program.
Self Help and Support Groups
Our self-help and support groups are wonderful and supportive venues that give you the opportunity to meet others affected by MS and offer support and information about living with MS. To find the right group for you, check the listing of the groups in your area. The benefits of exercise are numerous, and today there are many classes and wellness activities that are adaptable to differing levels of ability. The Colorado Chapter of the National MS Society offers a variety of fun, challenging and interesting exercise options.
Employment–Yes, you have rights. We can help you ‘explain’ your needs to your employer.
Employment is often a high concern when dealing with the unpredictably of MS symptoms. The National MS Society has beneficial information regarding disclosure, knowing your rights, and workplace decisions, legal perspectives, education programs and links to career resources.
Insurance and Money Matters
By planning for your health insurance needs and understanding additional insurances, such as private disability, life and long-term care insurance, you are taking important steps to help ensure that you and your family are able to meet financial challenges that may arise due to MS.
