Lina Cialfi, mother of executive chefs Dino and Sal Cialfi, creates stuffed zucchini blossoms, a signature dish served seasonally at Peppercorn’s Grill in downtown Hartford. The blossoms are handpicked locally on a daily basis and are stuffed with various cheeses, most notably mozzarella cheese. |
HARTFORD, Conn. - Peppercorn’s Grill, located at 357 Main Street in Hartford, will host a mid summer evening social Thursday, July 30, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The social, to benefit multiple sclerosis, features exquisite heavy hors d’oeuvres crafted by executive chefs Dino Cialfi and Sal Cialfi.
Hors d’oeuvres include Peppercorn’s signature stuffed zucchini blossoms, bruschetta, calamari accompanied by a cucumber remoulade and more. The event includes a cash bar and a 50/50 drawing.
“Peppercorn’s Grill is pleased to team up to host this summer social.” Said Dino Cialfi, who trained in culinary arts in Rome, Italy. “Giving back to the community is important to us. We are committed to helping to find a cure for multiple sclerosis.”
Tickets are available at the door and are $10 per person. Proceeds benefit the National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter.
