MS Gala

Each year the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Connecticut Chapter hosts the MS Connecticut Citizen of the Year Gala, announcing the chapter’s MS Connecticut Citizen of the Year and MS Hope awards.

The MS Connecticut Citizen of the Year Award is presented to an individual who exemplifies extraordinary leadership, outstanding civic and community service and illustrates a long-standing commitment to humanitarian endeavors. Past recipients include Christopher Dadlez, President and CEO of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center; Michael Lech, President and CEO of READCO, LLC; Governor M. Jodi Rell; and Jim Koplik, President, Live Nation Connecticut.

The MS Hope Award is presented to an individual who plays a significant role in helping improve the quality of life for Connecticut residents. Past recipients include Brad David, radio personality, WDRC-AM; Mark Ojakian, Deputy Comptroller, State of Connecticut; and Michael Bolton, singer/producer.
