The National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter has a dedicated history of being involved in advocacy on a local level.
MS Action Day
Date for 2010 TBD.
Every spring chapter staff, members, friends and family spend a day at the Connecticut State Capitol building in Hartford, Conn., voicing healthcare-related issues and policies affecting people living with MS in our state. Many legislators and representatives stop by to show their support and meet their constituents. Several buses are chartered providing participants with convenient, fully accessible transportation.
Together, we will:
- raise awareness for MS issues
- share our personal stories
- create legislative changes that benefit people living with MS
