Lisa and Barry Steinman – Great Delaware Valley Through their annual “Get Masked for MS” event, Lisa and Barry Steinman have raised $245,000 since 2004 in honor of Lisa’s sister, who has MS. This event, one of the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter’s largest community fundraisers, continuously opens the chapter to new supporters and new opportunities.

Brad Robbins – Lone Star
Brad Robbins, CEO of Baker Robbins, began riding on the Dow Team in Houston in 1998 and has raised over $410,000 to date through the BP MS 150. As an active member of the Lone Star Chapter Board of Trustees and the National Board of Directors, Brad’s leadership provides valuable guidance for Lone Star Chapter operations and the Society’s Regionalization Task Force.

Kathy Van de Ven – Mid America
Kathy leads a fundraising charge that ultimately aims to find a cure. “A Round for MS Research,” Kathy’s annual golf tournament began in 1999 and has raised $375,500 for a grant to fund Dr. Moses Rodriguez at the Mayo Clinic.

Bill Gillispie – Minnesota
Bill is a highly dedicated and motivated leader for the MS movement. As a high-level executive with the third largest retail grocery operation in the U.S., Bill frequently relocates. But his commitment to the society follows him wherever he goes. Bill has expanded his Walk MS team to six different states — raising hundreds of thousands of dollars.

James Donaghy – New York City
James Donaghy, Chairman of Structure Tone, a worldwide construction services leader and one of the industry’s top ranked firms has put his heart and soul into raising awareness and critical funds for the NYC Chapter since 1999. It is a family affair as Jim’s mother lives with MS and Jim and several of the Donaghy brothers work tirelessly throughout the year in an effort to move us closer to a world free of MS.

John Simonetti – Ohio Buckeye
John has been on the Chapter’s Board of Trustees since 1994, serving as Chair from 2000 to 2002. Over the years, his leadership roles have increased to include service on the National Board of Directors. Through his leadership and his fundraising efforts, primarily with the Bike MS Pedal to the Point Ride, he has generated more than $102,000 to benefit the National MS Society.

Ian David Duncan, BVMS, PhD, FRCPath – Wisconsin
Professor of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Ian Duncan is leading one of four multinational, interdisciplinary teams involved in the National MS Society’s Nervous System Repair and Protection Initiative. Professor Duncan has spearheaded several educational programs, is a Bike MS team captain and made it possible to partner with the American Birkebeiner’s Skiers for Cures raising more than $107,000 in the first year.
