Dr. Kathleen Fuchs - Blue Ridge Chapter
Dr. Kathleen Fuchs is a board certified neuropsychologist and associate professor of clinical neurology at the University of Virginia. She is a professional staff member at the James Q. Miller MS Clinic and serves as chair of the Clinical Advisory Board for the Blue Ridge Chapter. She has been an active volunteer for the chapter for 11 years and has presented at numerous professional and client education programs.

Dr. George Hutton - South Central Region
Dr. George Hutton, MD, is Chairman of the Regional Clinical Advisory Committee, National MS Society, South Central. He is Assistant Medical Director and Clinical Research Director of the Maxine Mesinger MS Comprehensive Care Center at Baylor College of Medicine, and is Director of the MS Clinic at Ben Taub General Hospital, in Houston. He is Associate Professor of Neurology and Course Director for Current Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine. He is active in MS research and writes and speaks extensively about MS.

As an MS certified RN, Theresa has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to patient care and nursing leadership through her many chapter patient education programs, her student and advance nurse training presentations, and her chapter MS Nurse monograph. Theresa received a volunteer award recognizing her extraordinary support of patient health and wellness.

Joan Ohayon - National Capital Chapter
MS nurse at National Institute of Health and longtime chapter volunteer Joan Ohayon works to improve the quality of care and life for people with MS through support, outreach, leadership, and fundraising. She is committed to educating people affected by MS, health professionals, and the general public about both the disease and cutting-edge research. Joan serves as a presenter at education programs, Research Advocate, a spokesperson during media interviews, and a visible leader on the Board of Trustees.

Dr. Peter Riskind - Greater New England Chapter
Dr. Peter Riskind, UMass Memorial MS Center Director, brings imagination to his role as Client Advisory Committee Chair. He inspired new chapter approaches to engage a larger audience for patient and physician education. Passionate about mentoring inexperienced neurologists in quality, comprehensive clinical care of MS patients, he helped establish the chapter’s medical student summer internship, and annually hosts clinical fellowships. He frequently speaks at research donor cultivation events, and serves as a chapter spokesperson in media interviews.
