Resources for the Uninsured and Under-insured

Although most people with MS have at least some health insurance, many are at risk of losing coverage, or find the health insurance they do have does not pay for all of their health care costs. This section includes information about eligibility for existing programs, as well as resources to help those with or without health insurance get the care they need.

The Affordable Care Act of 2010 (federal healthcare reform) will help alleviate some of these common health coverage problems for people with MS, but is intended to be phased in over many years, and is still subject to change.
