Philip L. De Jager, MD, PhD is the Steven R. and Kathleen P. Haley Distinguished Chair for the Neurosciences at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital and is an associate professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School. He is the director for basic and translational research at the Neurosciences Institute of the Brigham & Women’s Hospital.

Jennifer Stark, PhD is the National MS Society’s Director of Research Training Programs, overseeing several postdoctoral fellowship programs.

Ms. Kate Milliken is a film and television producer and founder of Milligrace Productions, a company specializing in 12-15 minute personal documentaries.

Howard Weiner, MD, PhD is the Robert L. Kroc Professor of Neurology, Director and Founder of Partners in MS Center, and Co-Director of the Center for Neurologic Diseases at Harvard’s Brigham & Women’s Hospital. Dr. Weiner is the author of Curing MS: How Science is Solving the Mystery of Multiple Sclerosis, which chronicles the history of MS, his more than 30 years in the research and clinical treatment of MS and details his ‘21 point hypothesis’ on the etiology and treatment of MS. Among other research efforts, Dr. Weiner is currently conducting a study focusing on many risk factors associated with MS progression.

Dr. LaRocca is the National MS Society’s Vice President of Health Care Delivery and Policy Research. He organized a Task Force on Epidemiology to help define the Society’s research priorities in epidemiology and has worked with the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on a future national registry of people with MS.

Ms. Kate Milliken is a film and television producer and founder of Milligrace Productions, a company specializing in 12-15 minute personal documentaries.

Dr. Coetzee has assumed responsibility of the Society’s research program which funds more than 375 projects around the world. In this role, he will continue oversight of the Fast Forward initiative which accelerates the development of new treatments for people with MS.
