The National MS Society, Lone Star Chapter is a community of thousands of individuals who are committed to achieving a world free of MS.
The Chapter helps 20,000 individuals throughout 174 counties in Texas impacted by MS to move their lives forward.
We provide comprehensive support services and educational programs to people with MS, their family and friends, and raise funds locally to support the National MS Society’s research initiatives.

Monthly Volunteer Orientation
Want to volunteer, but need more info? Then come learn about volunteer opportunities and the Society at the Monthly Volunteer Orientation Meeting held in Dallas and San Antonio the first Thursday night of the month and in Houston the first Tuesday night of the month.
Self Help Groups
Self-help groups provide opportunities for people living with MS, their family and friends to meet with others affected by MS. Group meetings provide settings to share common experiences and concerns, give and receive emotional support, and obtain MS-related information from your peers and guest professional speakers.

Scholarship Applications Now Available!
MS shouldn’t stand in the way of an education. If you are a high school senior with a connection to MS, you may qualify for the Society Scholarship Program. Applications are now online, and the deadline to apply is January 15, 2009.

Research
The National MS Society invested more than $45 million in 2007 to fund over 400 new and ongoing MS research projects as part of its international effort to move research forward to cure, treat and better understand MS.
